For nearly 40 years, John Buckingham has applied the value-investing discipline inspired by Al Frank, Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett. His investment experience spans countless market cycles and reflects the patience required to remain invested through them all.
He previously served as Chief Investment Officer of AFAM Capital and as Editor of The Prudent Speculator. John co-founded A Patient Prospector as an independent research platform, allowing him to focus on long-term investing without constraints.
His philosophy is deceptively simple: buy quality businesses at reasonable prices and hold them for the fullness of time.
