All About Our Stock Picks

If our Market Observations tell you what we are thinking, our Stock Pick list shows you our current recommendations.

This is the heart of the A Patient Prospector All Access experience and one of the primary reasons to become a member.

We don’t believe a stock recommendation should disappear into the archive the moment it’s published. Investing is an ongoing process. Businesses change. Earnings change. Valuations change. Prices certainly change.

So our coverage changes with them.

The complete Stock Picks list

Each week, we publish our full list of recommended stocks and their long-term Goal Prices for All Access Members in our Dashboard, providing current data for the companies we’re following.

In addition to the full list, All Access Members receive individual stock commentary in the weekly Market Observations on a selection of stocks we believe deserve additional attention.

Updates may include:

  • Earnings releases
  • Industry conferences
  • Broad market-moving news
  • Changes to our investment thesis
  • Updated goal prices and valuations
  • Company-specific developments

The result is more than a collection of stock ideas. It’s a living body of investment research that allows members to follow our thinking as an investment evolves.

In addition, All Access members can access our Action Alerts in the Dashboard, which cover:

  • New stock recommendations
  • Recent purchases and trims
  • Stocks we’ve sold

When something changes, we don’t wait until next month.

Markets (and companies) don’t conveniently schedule important developments around our publication calendar.

When our positioning changes between monthly updates, members receive an A Patient Prospector Action Alert.

That means you won’t have to wait for the next monthly publication to find out that our thinking may have changed.

Research first.

We are Value investors, so finding a company we like isn’t enough.

Price matters.

Before recommending a stock, we want to understand the underlying business, its financial condition, competitive position, opportunities and risks, then we determine what we believe represents a reasonable valuation. A stock only makes the initial cut if we believe there’s upside potential and the price is reasonable.

And once we’ve made a recommendation, we’re prepared to be patient.

The goal isn’t a constant stream of trades or a perpetually changing list of “hot stocks.” We endeavor to identify attractive opportunities, monitor continuously and give them time to work.

  • Goal Prices updated weekly.
  • Full newsletter published monthly.
  • Buy & Sell Alerts published as they appear.
  • All Access Membership is only available at www.apatientprospector.com
